Dr Mamisoa Andriantafika's Career

Dr Mamisoa Andriantafika has been an eye surgeon in Brussels since 2006. He directs the Brussels-Schuman Medical Centre and focuses his surgical practice on refractive surgery (LASIK, PRK, implants) and cataract surgery.

His career runs from hospital training in Brussels to French inter-university diplomas, then to consultant positions at Erasme Hospital and the Queen Fabiola Children's Hospital, before founding three eye care centres in the heart of the capital and taking over the La Sauvagère Medical Centre in Uccle.

At the request of their medical services, Dr Andriantafika carried out the pre-employment eye examinations for the European Commission from 2011 to 2021, then for the Council of the European Union from 2019 to 2025.
